We have sold so many of these resonators for race, drift, hill climb, street and rotary vehicles with astounding results in both performance and noise reduction.

Utilizing an internal chamber/collector allows this muffler to act as both a resonator and a collector! These are great where space is an issue or noise is a real problem. These stainless resonators are one of the most effective high performance mid mufflers available on the NZ market.

How it works

The Torque chamber resonators draw sound out of the exhaust using our own louvre baffle design and 3 stage sound absorbtion mediums. The chamber deepens the exhaust note while slightly increasing the back-pressure for a balancing effect on the incoming air/fuel mixture and the exhaust gases leaving the vehicle resulting in a better performing vehicle.

3 stage sound absorption

These resonators are made in-house completely from T304 grade stainless steel here in NZ so quality is assured.

Fitted to these mufflers are our patented spiral louvre baffles which disrupt and disperse soundwaves before they reach the Db meter. This results in a lower Db reading all while increasing the flow through the spiral scavenging effect.

They utilize our 3 stage sound absorbtion methodology which consists of wrapping the baffle in exhaust grade stainless steel wool, ceramic matting and a layer of tightly woven needlemat fibreglass blanket.

  1. The stainless wool breaks up soundwaves and creates a barrier preventing the packing from breaking up and exiting the rear of the vehicle prolonging the life of each and every muffler.
  2. The ceramic matting absorbs noise and heat preventing the fibreglass turning back to glass.
  3. The fibreglass woven matting acts as the final noise insulator which results in quieter, deeper notes singing from the rear of your vehicle.

As we all know not every vehicle is the same so we offer a range of sizes to suit your application.

The longer the resonator means increased sound absorbtion for louder vehicles. If your chassis hits the ground and you don’t have the room then we can offer shorter resonators to fit what little gaps you may have.
